How much would a Liberty Franchise cost me ?

The initial set up cost for the store would be around ₹ 30-40 lakhs including the cost of setting up the facility with a working capital requirement for the initial period of business operations. The exact investment would vary from store to store depending on various factors such as store size, rental/self owned etc.

How long does it takes to open a Liberty Franchise?

After signing the format agreement it normally takes 1-2 months to set up and start enterprise operations.

When will I break even ?

The break-even point varies from center to center depending on a variety of factors such as sales, overhead, operating costs and business.

Where are you selling franchise?

Although we have a pan India presence, we are currently focusing on Tier-II and other marginal locations where there is untapped potential.

Do I need to be from retail background to be accepted as a franchise?

Prior experience in retail industry would be desirable, but not mandatory. Our franchise program is designed in such a manner that it assists a new franchise in all areas of operations.

Do I need have my own Real Estate?

Having your own real estate would be beneficial: however you can also set up store on long lease rental projects. If not, we can also help you find a suitable location for your particular showroom.

What are the risk factor?

Risk is only in the selection of an ideal location, therefore we advise our prospective franchise to cautious while deciding the same. Like any retail business, the location plays a major factor in determining the successful running of an organization and keeping the business profitable.

Will the company share rental expenses?

The Franchise has to be very careful in selecting an optimal location which will keeps rentals low. The company does not share the rental cost as such but the margins provided by the company are good enough to cover rental expenses.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?

The initial agreement is for 2 years with an option of renewing it further. Renewal of the the agreement is subject to mutual agreement of both the parties.

Do you provide any business aids?

Yes, we do. We will help you with designing of the outlet, fit outs,equipment sourcing at the best possible price, production, staff recruitment ( if required), extensive training programs by the Liberty management and various marketing programs to help you with day to day business operations.

How will advertising be handled?

The marketing program is devised in such a way that the company will do the national level marketing activities focusing on brand awareness and development. However, local advertisements and promotions shall be carried out by the franchise with support and inputs from the management.

What are the payment terms i.e credit period?

Entire investment is done by company.There is no need for credit period.

How does the company treat unsold stock or what percentage of stock is replaced?

Company takes back all unsold stock and bear the cost of innovations, tests and trials.

What is normal discount offered to end consumer?

All discount is borne by the company.

Who pays for GST?

It is the company that bears cost of GST and keeps the channel partner free from such taxing compliance.

What is the cost of freight and how long does it takes the goods to reach showrooms?

Company provides a facilitator at its own cost till both the parties are convinced with training and establishing S.O.P’s.

What is the back end support provided by company?
